How to create, delete and update store period
The store period is the specified duration of store activities which can be captured in the software to enable the school management to generate reports from the store.
How to create store period
To create a store period, the following steps are needed;
- Click on manage store items under the store officer menu.
- Click on the configure initial stock tab.
- Click on the store period tab.
- Click on the new store period tab.
- Enter the required information. Set the start and end date for the period you wish to allow active store activities.
- Click on the save button.

How to delete store period
Saved store activity periods remain on the system to allow schools to track when they allowed store activities. To delete the store period the following steps are required;
- Click on manage store items under the store officer.
- Click on configure initial stock tab.
- Click on the store period tab.
- Select the store period you wish to delete from the list of periods.
- Click on the delete button.
- Click on the ok in the pop-up if you are sure you want to delete that particular store period.

How to update the store period
You can modify a store period based on choice. To update the store period the following steps are needed;
- Click on the manage store items under the store officer privilege.
- Click on the configure initial stock tab.
- Click on the store period tab.
- Select the store period you want to update from the list of periods.
- Click on the edit period tab.
- Edit the field(s) you want to change.
- Click on the save button.
