Subject teachers who make scores inputs, and while on the process get interrupted by the power supply, or the system suddenly shuts down would think that they have lost their inputs and all efforts made in vain. That was why the “goodbye to loss of data” feature was introduced because intact records keeping, saving time and energy are top priorities on SAFSMS.
Please note that score restoration on SAFSMS does not have to be immediately after the incident happens, so long as you login on to the same computer, and on the same browser.
This article will walk you through how to restore unsaved scores from local storage;
- In the case of unsaved scores when inputting scores as a subject teacher, scroll down from the scores column at the left-side bottom of the page and click on the Restore From Local Storage button, and the lost scores would be restored so that they can be saved as shown in the image below.
